Iliacus Muscle

Proximal attachment: Superior iliac fossa, iliac crest, and ala of sacrum
Distal attachment: lateral tendon of psoas major and lesser trochanter of femur
Innervation: Femoral nerve (L1-L4)
Action: Flexes the hip, assists with ER and abduction
