Procedure: Passive abduction of the hips are performed with both hips flexed to 90 degrees

What constitutes a positive finding: If abduction is more than 20 degrees greater than on the contralateral side

  • Bilateral limitation
    • Sensitivity=.43
    • Specificity=.90
    • +LR=4.3
    • -LR=.63
